How does it work?

Tiny crystals are sprayed onto the skin to gently remove the outer layer of your skin. An exfoliation and skin rejuvenation procedure that leaves skin looking softer and brighter.

Microdermabrasion is a progressive procedure. After the first session your skin will feel softer and you may see a very subtle improvement.

Does it hurt?

Microdermabrasion is painless. You may feel some discomfort around the eyes, but as microdermabrasion treatment continues, your skin gets used to the crystal flow. It feels like the mild facial massage from a special wand. Your face may appear a little pinkish in the first 24 hours, but you should not experience any itchiness or pain.

How does it work?

A nurse or licensed aesthetician first clears your skin with a special cleansing gel then starts the procedure using a hand-held device.

The aluminium oxide micro crystal flow is sandblasted through a small tube pressed against the skin which, at the same time, vacuums back dead skin cells and used micro crystals. 

The crystal flow starts as soon as the microdermabrasion wand touches your skin. The aesthetician slowly moves the wand across your entire face and not just treated areas, so that you don't experience inconsistence in skin texture or color.

Are results permanent?

Yes, however, after completing a series of microdermabrasion treatments, you may want to keep your skin looking smooth and plump by scheduling a microdermabrasion-maintenance session once every 3 months.

Are there any side effects?

Microdermabrasion is virtually risk-free. It is non-invasive and mild, so you have nothing to worry about.
