People are almost always worried that it will be uncomfortable but tell us afterwards that there was no pain and minimal discomfort, and that it wasn’t as cold as they thought it would be. Clients often fall asleep during treatment. Your comfort is always of the upmost importance to us.

We use a non-invasive procedure that consists in overheating and then freezing the fat cells to trigger the process of lipolysis.

An applicator, placed directly on the treatment area, emits radiofrequency and in sequence cools to near-freezing temperatures the skin. This results in the breakdown of the fat cells that are then flushed out of the body naturally. 

Several days after the procedure, the heated and cooled fat cells start a process called “apoptosis” and begin to shrink. 

These damaged fat cells are slowly digested over several months by our body and removed through the liver.

The procedure is highly effective and is producing consistent results for localized fat areas like love-handles or ‘man-boobs’, though larger areas of fat may require more invasive treatments.

The ideal candidates for this treatment are people who are in relatively good shape, but have modest areas of fat bulges that they would like to remove. This not an alternative to healthy diet or lifestyle.

This depends on the individual, the fat thickness, and the area treated. Changes happen over a number of weeks, 12 weeks being the estimated time to see the maximum result, although some of our clients begin to see changes at around 2 weeks. In clinical trials 12 weeks post treatment, 9 out of 10 people saw an undeniable reduction in the treated area.

Each session is 30 – 45 minutes per area, depending on the thickness of the area, and how quickly you respond to the cooling technology. Your treatment will be tailored to your individual requirements. Additional time may be required if you require more than one area.

Side effects are usually mild and related to the cold of the device which subsides within 10 minutes. Skin may be red for several minutes to several hours. 

The beauty of Cryolipolysis is there are generally few side effects. The treated area may feel slightly tender for a short period after but it is very rare to have extended redness after the treatment. You can resume normal daily activities although must avoid heavy exercise on the area for 24 hours.

The majority of our clients undergo just one Cryoliposculpt fat removal procedure. Some customers have 2-3 total procedures for continued fat reduction.
